PALLC / TECHNOLOGY

SI-augmented DEM&S ecosystem architecture.

One adaptively scalable, SI-augmented Digital Engineering, Modeling & Simulation (DEM&S) environment connects model development, simulation and mission assessment.

Requirements, engineering data and executable models share a digital thread. Defined interfaces and a DEVS engine coordinate model execution; computational physics and model reduction support prediction at the resolution required for the intended use. Verification and validation connect model implementation to its intended application.

KNOWLEDGE / MODEL COMPOSITION / SIMULATION

MetaSES-DEVS

Knowledge-to-Simulation Engine

MetaSES-DEVS architecture connects knowledge graphs and SI-assisted model development with Boolean, deterministic and stochastic model layers through DEVS Markov composition, explicit interfaces, event transitions and time advance.
Boolean, deterministic and stochastic model composition.

Developed with our partners at RTSync Corp., PALLC’s MetaSES-DEVS Knowledge-to-Simulation Engine brings knowledge graphs, SI-assisted model development, and heterogeneous simulation into a unified DEVS architecture. We connect requirements and ontology-defined relationships to Boolean model structures, deterministic component behavior, and stochastic representations of probability and time. DEVS Markov composition provides the mathematical foundation for expressing transition probabilities and their associated timing distributions through explicit component interfaces, event transitions, and time advance. This architecture supports reusable, traceable model composition across diverse engineering tools and simulators, giving customers a consistent foundation for mission engineering, acquisition analysis, advanced exercises, and wargaming—from individual components to complex systems of systems.
