Abstract
Philipbar Analytics LLC’s Artificial Intelligence for Gaming, Exercise, Modeling & Simulation (PALLC AI-GEMS) applies PALLC’s expertise in the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), Joint Simulation Environment (JSE), Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), and heterogeneous digital engineering to a common integration problem: preserving system meaning and behavior across independently developed models and simulators. The Discrete Event System Specification (DEVS) supplies the overarching behavioral formalism. A requirements ontology captures meaning and provenance; a Blueprint Architecture expresses descriptive structure through textual model-based systems engineering (MBSE); explicit contracts govern component behavior, time, state ownership and exchange. Closure under coupling supplies the mathematical basis for recursive composition. Artificial intelligence (AI) assists requirements interpretation, model construction and code generation within a verification and validation (V&V) lifecycle. A conditional closure argument is accompanied by 248,112 finite transition checks and a synthetic timing experiment matching 2,304 analytical service decisions. Native interfaces and intended-use model adequacy have distinct V&V obligations. The resulting requirements-to-verification architecture is designed to accelerate exercises, wargames, acquisition and mission engineering while preserving explicit acceptance criteria.
